“Adelaide is my home town – and it’s brimming with blatant potential. Penny Place, and the whole masterplanned precinct really capitalises on that,” says Alex. The quiet laneway position is peaceful yet part of the city pulse, with the highly-anticipated Penny Square offering shops, cafes, restaurants as well as communal space.
“We’re trying to make the most of this unique offering by bringing amenity down into the public square,” says Adrian Reveruzzi, Lead Architect at Woods Bagot. “I actually live just down the road from Penny Place, and it’s a very up and coming spot.”
With such an intimate understanding of Adelaide, Adrian and Alex have been able to design smart, inner-city homes that address what Adelaideans are really looking for in an apartment. “The heart of the smart apartment concept was driven by our idea to create the most optimal value across the life of the project. Not only during design and construction, but for the people who will live in the space,” says Alex. “It’s Adelaideans who will really appreciate the benefits of it.”
